I've got it bad. I heard somewhere that all you have to do is power through it - the only way out is through - but I've been pounding out a page or so a night at various projects and I'm getting NOWHERE. It's like every sentence I piece together is the exact wrong one.
I feel like I either need to take a break, or look at this differently. Any help appreciated.

Hmm, sounds like a really bad block. I'd usually tell you to work on something new, but varying projects doesn't seem to be working for you. What do you do for inspiration? Maybe music or something would help.
Sometimes, if I have a really bad block, acting out the scene can help. It gets me closer to the characters, helps with choreography and dialogue flow, and lets me work out most of the kinks before I start putting it on paper. Maybe that would help? Otherwise, taking a break for a week or two might be good for you. Don't wait too long, but a short break might help you really want to write again.

One night I played Radioactive by Imagine Dragons like 50 times in a row, because it gave me an idea I've decided to post what I wrote that night, because though it isn't finished, something is better than nothing, huh? Wow, that is a really great idea. A REALLY great idea that I am going to try immediately. I'll get back soon with results.

My problem right now with music is I get side tracked and just listen to the music. I have a bad case of block, although I have a few ideas in my head. So since my summer has started I should be able to work on them more.

Glad you like the idea, Zoom. Hope it works for you! I've been listening to music when I write less and less... It has to be the perfect song for the scene I'm writing to work at all, otherwise it's just distracting. And it's also distracting having to keep finding the right song and repeating it until the scene is finished.
