As you can see, I recently posted in the Chat forum about a group that's active in PA to help writers gain insight into their works, and make connection in the publishing industry. Perhaps there should be a board specifically for such references, or at the very least a thread in which to post them?

I think we should have a "Self promotion" board where, if any of us get published, we can let others know where and how to obtain copies of the book!

I think that's a great idea, but at the same time I feel like the Chat board is a perfect area for self-promotion and making announcements about getting published. Perhaps a solely self-promotion thread with an official form in the Chat board might fit, and then people can always make new threads about their own publication news if they like.

I agree that the Chat board is the best place for something like that.
I'm not sure we really need it, the group being as small as we are and not entirely likely to grow much - personally, I rather prefer us small - but it's a good idea and certainly can't hurt.
