Hey guys.
I'm an aspiring writer, and this seems like a nice place to share some of my work with other people, which is nice since I don't actually know anybody else who is a writer. I'm also happy to give advice to anyone I can help! I've been looking for a decent writing forum, and this seems like a pretty neat place.

Right now I'm on a poetry kick, but I've also done short stories. And also started about a dozen novels unsuccessfully. I originally thought I was going to be an epic fantasy writer, but apparently I can't take that genre seriously and always end up writing it as parody.

That's cool. I've never been much of a poet, though I used to dabble. From the poem you posted here, you're really good. As for the fantasy, there's a market for everything. There are plenty of serious epic fantasy writers. If writing parodies works for you, go for it! They're always fun to read. |
