Hello everyone! I go by Faint online and have been that since I started role-playing 8 years ago. I've role-played on numerous animal sites and I've really gotten better at writing.
I have a desire to write my own book one day. I have a ton of ideas floating around in my head, but I don't have a place to put them. I found this site by searching for writing forums and I found you guys! This site is truly amazing.
I hope to make a few good friends here. People who will encourage me in my writing and help me will my skill. I want to get better! I also hope to read amazing stories here. Reading good work makes my muse explode!
I cannot wait to join this little family of writers.

Welcome, Faint! We're glad to have you. I hope you find exactly what you're looking for in The Echo. What do you like to read/write most? I can't wait to read some of your work!

Hey, I'm in some of the same boats... or ships I can never tell. So you can just give me a holler if you need to. You should check out this blog that's been bouncing around, it's a college lecture course but it has great points and Brandon Sanderson is a great author, just ask Sapphire. Write about Dragons, it was called I believe. Can't wait to see what you come up with!

Thank you for the wonderful greeting. I feel like a member of this family already!
Endovia - I love mystery/suspense. And anything about animals! I write a lot of drama and things that pull on your heart strings. I've tried to write poetry before, but it didn't work too well for me. Maybe you guys could help me improve on that!
I have an idea for a story! I am so excited to share with everyone. I will probably make a thread somewhere else to discuss it. Look forward to that! [/size]

I think you mean Sapphire?
Have you read anything by Amelia Atwater-Rhodes? She has this awesome animal/human series, Kiesha'ra. The people are shapeshifters, essentially, like birds and snakes. I read it a while ago, but I remember enjoying it.

Oh, hey! I've read those books, too! I have Hawksong and Snakecharm sitting on my shelf right now, actually. Have either of you read the Guardians of Ga'Hoole series? I think they made a movie a few years ago, but I never saw it. I loved the books, though. It's about owls.

Oh, wow. I grew up with Redwall. I adored those books. That seems like a very long time ago, now.
