Oh, well i would also be open to a discussion about insanity or if it truly is real and if we are creatures of will or simply controled by chemicals in our brain and if we are simply beings of body or is there such thing as a spirit, if you want to talk ofcourse

Haha, I know we could go into a really long discussion about insanity. We've just started a new book in English called "Brave New World". Even though we're not that far into it, it's really cool because it's just talking about how we are only chemicals. (Aren't we?) Any instilling moral and social ideals into children by repeating sound recordings of speeches while they're sleeping. (It's funny because that is how I memorized this speech from Shakespeare. It actually works, I got an A. )

You should check out music from " Next to Normal" - it's a musical about a woman who is bipolar and has hallucinations, and how she and her family deal with that. The music is really good, and it gets pretty close to what I guess we'd call "insanity." There's also Discord and Strange, which aren't exactly about insanity, but I think are applicable.

Thanks! I'm working out the details in my head, so i sort of go in with a battle plan, and it's good because i am almost creeping my self out.

With Nueroscience (Or the correct spelling, i've heard it both ways), it shows us that practically everything that we do is controled by chemicals in our brains, but is there something else? What is the difference of a dead brain and a living one? What is it that gives us life, because chemicals don't. What is it that allows us to think, and produce philosophers like Socrates, or write a speech that people memorize in their sleep like Shakespeare?

Brand new to the site but I saw this and thought I would make an account to give my two cents. I don't actually think I am insane (though if I were insane wouldn't that be a normal thing to think?) but I have a friend who is clinically diagnosed as being a schizophrenic and has multiple personality as well as OCD and other problems.
He said he used to listen to a lot of songs by Nine Inch Nails which apparently has a lot to do with depression, insanity and suicide. As for me, I am actually interested in songs that are creepy or show anger or insanity. One of my favorite bands is called RED. A song about insanity may be something like Fight Inside or Confession though the later is more about anger which personally connects with me very well as I suffer from anger problems. Even if you don't find what you are looking for I recommend giving RED a shot because they are a great band regardless.
Another good song, as I personally find anger and insanity to be pretty closely linked, is The Red by Chevelle. Disturbed may be another band you want to look in to.
Well anyways, that is my long winded response. Hope it helps!

Basically anything by Cocorosie. Pale on Pale by Chelsea Wolfe is also a favorite of mine. Also Just Lose It by Eminem is a kind of insanity that turns up in my writing a lot Nine Inch Nails, Three Days Grace, Disturbed...or like Opeth. Maybe if you can find some really rough hardstyle.
