Sapphire I'll be honest I am in love with your prof. He sounds like a fantastic teacher.
Oh and speaking of illogical connections, does anybody know if there's a version of btw that's for "this isn't technically related but something about that made me think of this so it's related in some way in my mind", like it doesn't suit the literal meaning of btw but it suits the colloquial one?

- I'll say it: guys. You guys here are fine. I like you guys. You're normal. But what is it with guys showing off? It's so stupid, I don't understand it. And, I guess this is weird, but I don't really like boyfriends. When your friends have boyfriends they move away. It all changes. I like it simple. Why do guys complicate things? (I guess it's the same for guys about girls.) I don't know...people confuse me. I just want to read books and talk about Batman. In my opinion, most guys are predictable. Yes this is something that really bothers me. My X boyfriend was really predictable when it came to food, but I suppose that's to do with an illness related to his stomach (I forget what it was exactly.) But my room mate is similar. He usually never cooks and when he orders pizza he always gets the same two pizzas from the exact same place! And the pizzas there aren't even that good. :l - I hate being paid every single week for work. Most people might think this is a bonus but in reality, being paid every week makes it extremely hard to save up money! I mean, normally my entire pay check has been spent within three days of me getting it. Usually for food or rent. - So being the aspiring writer I am, I can't stand it when I'm playing a massive online multiplayer game and someone continuously uses chat speak. For those of you who don't know what that is, it's basically shortening already short words like; please, thanks, etc. To name a few chatspeak words (thx, pls, plz, plox (don't ask me how they get that out of 'please' cause I honestly don't know. :/), np, brb, etc.)

Heh, I'm one of those people who orders the same thing from the same restaurant over and over. I figure, if I know that I like it, why change things up too much? I think it's people in general who are predictable, though in different ways. We all have our habits and patterns, and if people stick around long enough, they learn what we're like. Chat speak is so irritating. I'm fine with lol, brb, np and such in games, especially when you're not in a position to type much at once, but it gets excessive when that's how people just talk. Also: text messages. I use full words, proper spelling and grammar and punctuation. It annoys me when other people don't.

Amen re human predictability. Every time my friend and I hang out at his place we end up going to this one pizza place and I end up getting a NOS and he ends up getting Jones Soda. I mean every single time. It's tradition! Plus there's no reason to change it so why should we?
"I use full words, proper spelling and grammar and punctuation. " Same here. It's good practice.

Yeah but sometimes it's good to get something new right? Just to try out different things. And like I said before, the pizza he usually gets is horrible.....
And yeah I always use full words and try to use proper grammar. Saying that abbreviating things is quicker then spelling it out, is not an excuse to do so. If you type, type like you're actually speaking right? Cause doing that while you talk is just plain weird.

Mmm, true, esp if the pizza is horrible. Besides, it's always possible there's something EVEN BETTER out there, hey?
Plus when they're doing that chatspeak thing it's actually just transferring the time spent - from the writer, to the reader. The readers are the ones that have to decipher "hey so ill b ther tmro nt @ 6 is jo comin cuz he stll os me 5$"
I say LOL out loud but I do it IRONICLY so it's okay
