Judging by the preview it's either,
a) a terrifying and artistically-exaggerated portrayal of what's going wrong with the new MTV generation or b) a blatant scheme to get money from kids who grew up watching the Disney Channel and are now hitting the rebellious phase and are looking for molds to project themselves into.
But I can't tell which until I watch it and I'm so afraid to watch it. Either way it sounds incredibly unpleasant.
Anybody? Thoughts?

This is one of those movies that immediately goes on my "do not watch" list. If my friends see it and like it, I might reconsider, but I doubt that will happen. (I feel like it's b. Since when does Hollywood have any interest in pointing out flaws in society (or care about anything besides making money?)

"Since when does Hollywood have any interest in pointing out flaws in society (or care about anything besides making money?) " My thoughts exactly. Looks like I'll give this one a miss.
That said, Yikes.

I actually thought your post was "Has anybody seen Spring?" and it was going to be a tongue-in-cheek question, like, "I looked out my window, and all I saw was snow. Has anyone seen spring? It seems to be missing."
The only thing I've heard about this movie is that 1) James Franco is in it, and 2) Why the heck did James Franco agree to a movie like this? So I can only conclude that it is, in fact, not good.

I'd go with B, definitely. Haven't heard much about the movie, but they just don't make stuff that's meant to point out problems with society. That's one of the problems with society. If you know what I mean. ;D
