So, over the weekend my sister and i were talking about how bad the english language is to any other in the world. For example, in school I was told i before e except after c, right? Well I thought it might be fun to list words that have an exception to that rule.
Neighbor, Their, Neigh, Reign.
So, you get the basic idea ^^;

The thing is the grammar that we have is confusing. For just about every rule we have we have at least two exceptions. But I like writing with our grammar. Yes its stupid most of the time but you have so much more freedom to play with it. It's so much more fluid.

Sapphire, hold up! Every comment from the one guy has ANOTHER 'ei' word! And the other dude is just losing his mind every time.

I guess irrelevant was the wrong word... The comments aren't as cool as the initial status. That was a bunch strung together that almost even make sense, but anyone can use one at a time. (Though I guess it is impressive that it's the same guy.)

That's brilliant! It's kind of legal stuff. Loopholes within rules within loopholes.
That's what I liked about learning Chinese. Sure, at first, you're intimidated by how there's no letters. But after that, one character means is, am, are, were, was. You don't have to worry about switching things up all of the time or a bajillion different tenses and forms and when to use them.
