I haven't had that for a while, sadly. Mostly just reading for classes these days, and while those are pretty good, they're not amazing, you know? I'm reading A Game of Thrones right now, though, and I have a feeling it will be one of those books.

Just read The Kite Runner for class. Really good, but incredibly sad. Some class books are brilliant some are okay. I still like reading for class because I get to see stuff that I wouldn't have otherwise looked at since they tend to be non-fantasy stuff.

I like reading assigned books for the same reason. I've come across some really great ones that way. This Boy's Life by Tobias Wolff is incredible, and I never would have picked it up had I not had to read it for class.

I've heard of that book. I need to check it out once the library is open.

I would have had a sad, sad childhood without books.

Same. My mom would take away my books as punishment because leaving me in my room wasn't much of a timeout.

My parents should have done that.

No! You're lucky. It was awful to not have books.

Honestly, I'm pretty sure my parents would have missed some if they'd tried. I had books everywhere. Including under my pillow, because I would read when I was supposed to be sleeping.

Yeah, they'd need a separate room to lock them up in. The worse is when your in the middle of a book and they take it away.
